Radiator Booster Mk3

The Radiator Booster is an energy saving product that can

Heat your room faster

Save energy

Reduce your heating bills.

The Radiator Booster disperses the heat from your radiator more efficiently around the room. It may save an average household between £70 to £140 per annum on heating bills!

The fan within the radiator booster will draw heat from your radiator and propel it around the room heating it in up to half the time.

Your central heating boiler will use around 15 kilowatts of energy every hour (some even more). The clever fan arrangement within the Radiator BOOster™ draws heat from your radiator, heating your room in up to half the time, allowing your boiler to shut down much sooner. If you could save just one hour a week of your boiler working, you would save 15 kilowatts of energy. With the Radiator Booster you could easily make incredible savings of between 7 and 14 hours/week (over 100 kilowatts) during the colder months.

As your radiator heats up, the ‘rear’ surface normally radiates heat onto your wall, heating this up. This heat is in turn lost through the wall structure, due to conduction. The Radiator BOOster™ redirects most of this wasted heat and fires it into your room, significantly reducing the losses and saving you even more energy. It really is as simple as that!

Dimension 610mm Length x 61mm x 61mm

This ingenious and unique UK Registered design uses miniature 12-volt electric fans to
suck the heated air from behind the radiator, firing it into your room far quicker than any natural convection in addition to reducing the heat losses through the wall behind your radiator. Heating rooms quicker allows your heating system to shut down far sooner, saving you huge amounts of energy.

Help save the planet and cut your energy bills, all for a running cost of about 30p a year!

Instructions;
(1) Extend the housing to match the length or your radiator, or on longer radiators, until just 25mm-overlap of the two sections remains.
(2) Place atop the radiator, as far towards the back (wall) as possible, equal distance from both ends. Ensure the product label is facing downwards as the diamond-shaped openings allow the warm air to be drawn up from behind the radiator. Some radiator designs allow the device to ‘drop-down a little’ behind it. This further improves the performance.
(3) Plug in / Switch on the power. From here, the built-in thermostat will ‘switch-on’ the device as soon as your radiator heats up, and ‘off’ again as the radiator cools. For maximum product life & energy saving, switch off from wall socket when not needed.
(4) Keep the device as clean as possible. A build up of dust will reduce its useful life. Wipe clean using a  ‘lint-free’ cloth, take care with the fragile fan blades; they will break with the slightest force.
(5) Never use the device in a bathroom, shower room, etc, indeed anywhere there is water and/or high humidity.
(6) This product is designed to be very effective, and very reliable. Should you have any problems, please contact your retailer immediately. The product is guaranteed against defects in design or manufacture, but not against abuse or accidental damage.
(7) When you have no further use for this product, please dispose of it through your local authority recycling-program for ‘recovery and recycling for electrical products’.
(8) This device must only be used on ‘water system radiators’. NEVER use on OIL FILLED Radiators, as these can get too hot for the plastic housing, which may then fail to work correctly.
(9) Should you notice a rubbing/clicking sound, you may need to apply a gentle squeeze around the housing area of the fan to re-align it. Should the fan suddenly start making a loud noise, it could be that it has moved on its bearing. To correct this simply place your fingertip on the inside centre circle-area of the fan, (opposite side to the fan label), & press carefully to ensure the bearing has not slipped during use or transit.  production of water droplets and condensation is dramatically reduced if not totally eliminated.
