INCREASED EFFICIENCY
Warm air is circulated directly into the living area rather than having most of your stove's heat rise immediately to the ceiling, thereby increasing the heating efficency of your stove.
UNIQUE BLADE DESIGN
The unique anodised gold or nickel coloured blade has been specifically designed to deliver a very broad cross section of gentle air movement instead of a small cone of concentrated air.
EASY OPERATION
Ecofans start automatically and adjust speed with the stove temperature. As the stove heats up the Ecofan runs faster to move more air into the room. As the stove burns down and cools the Ecofan automatically shuts off.
COSTS NOTHING TO OPERATE
Ecofans use only the heat from your stove. The Ecofan is the most economical way to effectively circulate warm air. It does not plug in, uses no batteries and can be used where there is no electricity.
CONSTRUCTION
Ecofans are made from anodised aluminium that will not rust. Bi-metal strips in the base of the Ecofans help prevent the fan from overheating.
It is important to read, and follow, the instructions on the correct placement of the Ecofans to ensure satisfactory long term use and that your stove is working within the temperature range of 'best operation'. We recommend the associated use of our Stove & Stovepipe Thermometer as shown below.
For Optimum Performance Of Your Ecofan
The Ecofan is recommended for use on freestanding wood stoves with a surface temperature of between 300'F (150'C) and 650'F (350'C) Placement of the Ecofan on the stove top is critical. Be sure to position the Ecofan on the stove top so that cool air will be drawn over the 'cooling fins'. The Ecofan should not be used directly in front of the stove pipe or at the front of the stove. Place the Ecofan at the back edge of the stove. There is a manual that comes with this Ecofan for further tips on positioning the Ecofan on your stove.
